It’s in here for a Roo Systems ECU remap, so let’s pop it on the dyno and see what power it’s getting stock standard from the factory…
So, its max horsepower is 149, and it’s reaching that at 92 kilometres per hour.
This customer has requested the Power Touring Tune. Due to the luxury of time we’ve decided to load the Touring and Towing Tune first to see how it goes on the dyno. So let’s get to it…
So, with the Turing and towing tune it reaches 171 horsepower. That’s an extra 22 horsepower which it’s getting at 85 to 93 kilometres per hour. So now let’s load the Power Touring tune…
With the Power Touring tune, it is now reaching 181.7 horsepower. It’s reaching this at 77 to 87 kilometres per hour, so that’s an extra 32.7 horsepower, or for those of you that love numbers, 21.9% power down low where you need it for taking off and overtaking.
