Recently we fitted out a Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series with a custom under bonnet Dual Battery System.
On this Toyota Landcruiser Under Bonnet Dual Battery System we installed:
- MRV70 – SUPERCHARGE ALLROUNDER 105AH HOUR
- GENUINE BATTERY TRAY
- HOLD DOWN CLAMP
- REDARC BCDC1225D BATTERY CHARGER
- 12 VOLT MERIT SOCKET
- 12 VOLT CIGARETTE SOCKET
- 12 VOLT TWIN USB SOCKET
- VOLTMETER
Recently we worked on this Toyota Landcruiser, fitting an under bonnet Dual Battery system, we’ve been doing a lot of work recently on the 200 series, we even had 5 in the workshop at the same time a few weeks ago!
To start the under bonnet dual battery install, we fitted an MRV70 Supercharge allrounder 105Ah hour battery and fitted a genuine battery tray and a hold-down clamp so it’s secured in place.
Next, the technicians installed a Redarc BCDC1225D Battery Charger, which they wired to the auxiliary battery, the Redarc BC-DC Charger is a smart way to charge your auxiliary battery, no matter your vehicle. The Redarc BC-DC Charger utilises a unique pulse charging algorithm with the intelligence to determine the best charge rate for your auxiliary battery.
In the rear of the vehicle, we installed 1 x Merit socket, 1 x Cigarette Socket, 1 X Twin USB Socket, and 1 x Voltmeter.
