Today we fitted out a 1953 Chevrolet 3100 with custom Accessories.

This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 was brought in to have some modern day accessories installed, adding just little more 21st century to this classic vehicle.

The customer supplied us with all the gadgets he wanted to be fitted on the vehicle so we just had to modify the wiring and install everything. The vehicle came all the way over from the US so some modifications also needed to be made to meet Australian legal driving requirements.

Here’s a break down of the job:

We wired in a whole new sound system. This included installing an Alpine head unit in the vehicle, and wiring the dual subs, speakers and amps into the unit. We also installed a Viper remote start and immobiliser kit. Allowing the customer to start the vehicle without using the key.

The vehicle was fitted with an air horn (that played La Cucaracha) so the technician fitted a standard low tone horn as well as a dual way switch so the customer can switch between the two horns as desired.

The technician also installed 2 Dual USB sockets into the glovebox and repaired various wiring and bulbs to make sure all the lights were working and met legal driving requirements.
