Recently we fitted out a Toyota Landcruiser Troopcarrier with a custom Lead Crystal Dual Battery System
On this Toyota Landcruiser Troopcarrier Dual Battery System we installed:
- 120Ah Slimline Lead Crystal Battery
- 105Ah RACQ Deep Cycle Battery
- Enerdrive DC2DC 40+ Battery Charger
- 2x Cigarette 12V Power Sockets
- Digital Voltmeter
- Dual USB
- Thunder Tie Down Straps
To start the dual battery install, we replaced the customer’s existing under bonnet auxiliary battery with an RACQ 105ah AGM battery. Next, the technician installed the 120Ah Slimline Lead Crystal Battery in the draw system in the rear of the vehicle. The battery was secured using a custom built tray and tie down straps.
We then installed the Enerdrive DC2DC 40+ Battery Charger to charge the Lead Crystal Battery. This was mounted within the vehicle existing draw system so they can remain out of sight.
In the rear of the vehicle, we also installed a 12V cigarette socket, dual USB socket and voltmeter so the customer can power their accessories and monitor their auxiliary battery levels.
