Today we completed a Mazda CX5 Towing Set Up for a Jayco Swan

For this Mazda CX5 towing set up, we installed: 

• Enerdrive Voltage Sensitive Relay
• 12 Pin Trailer Plug
• Grey Anderson Plugs

The grey Anderson plug connecting to the caravan is used for the charging circuit that runs cables from the vehicle to the caravan. This connection used to charge the batteries in the caravan via the car’s starting battery while driving. The batteries are separated via the Enerdrive VSR which protects the vehicle’s starting battery from going flat when the vehicle is not running. To read more about Anderson Plugs, click here!

We also included an extra Anderson Plug with a lead in the rear of the vehicle to power a battery box the customer is getting in the future.
