Today we replaced the Air Conditioning Compressor on a Nissan X-Trail T31

On this Nissan X-Trail T31 Compressor Replacement, we inspected the system by completing a pressure test, after pressure testing the system and inspecting for leaks we discovered the compressor needed replacing.

The compressor is the work horse of the air conditioning system, powered by a drive belt connected to the crankshaft of the engine. When the aircon system is turned on, the compressor pumps refrigerant vapour under high pressure to the condenser.

• Condensor
• Receiver Drier
• Expansion Valve
• Evaporator
• Hoses
• Cabin Filter

Once we replaced the Compressor we completed an AC Service which includes a re-gas with R134A gas and UV dye.  Now the Nissan X-Trail has icy cold air conditioning for summer.
