Urban Caravans Tungsten X-Treme Off-Grid Lithium Battery System
This Urban Caravans Tungsten Xtreme had an existing BMPRO system installed that we were able to integrate into the new upgraded lithium power system. We added a bunch of awesome gear from Enerdrive and even a CaraFan Sahara and now this rig is ready for adventure!
Here’s what we installed:
- 200Ah Enerdrive B-Tech Lithium Battery
- Enerdrive DC2DC 40+ Charger
- MorningStar TriStar Solar Regulator
- Enerdrive 2600W ePower Inverter
- 2x Enerdrive 180W Solar Panel (added to existing panels)
- BMPRO BC300 & Commlink
- Carafan CP700 Sahara Positive Pressure Fan
The Install:
For this one we worked with the existing battery system in the caravan to convert it to a fully off-grid set up. We started by installing the Enerdrive ePower B-TEC 200AH Lithium Battery, the Morningstar Tri-Star Solar Regulator, Enerdrive 2600W Inverter, Enerdrive DC2DC Chargers and BMPRO Monitors.
We also added two more Enerdrive Solar Panels to make the most of the roof space. For this one we also installed a CaraFan Sahara on the roof to help reduce dust build up in the van while travelling.
Thanks to the awesome technology in the Enerdrive and BMPRO products this was a pretty straightforward system for our technicians to install. A great option if you are looking to upgrade the power system in your older caravan.
