Recently we fitted this custom Ford Ranger PX3 In-Cab Dual Battery System.
On this Ford Ranger PX3 In-Cab Dual Battery System we installed:
- 100 A/hr LEAD CRYSTAL® Slimline Battery
- Redarc 1240D 40amp DC-DC charger
- Cigarette Sockets
- Dual USB
- Red Anderson Plugs
- Grey Anderson Plugs
This system was customised to suit the needs of this customer, with plenty of extra sockets around the vehicle to keep all their devices powered up.
We had the usual set up behind seat using the Lead Crystal® 100 Ah battery, Redarc 40 amp BCDC, an 8 circuit fuse box, Red Anderson for Solar input and Grey Anderson.
Next up we installed the various mount panels for the sockets. In the rear of the cab (drivers side) we installed a triple panel with voltmeter, cigarette socket and dual USB port. On the passenger side in the rear we installed a dual panel with cigarette socket and dual USB port.
In the rear tub we installed a dual panel with 2 cigarette sockets for powering the customer’s fridge and other accessories. We also installed an Anderson plug for charging another battery.
