Recently we fitted out an Isuzu DMAX with a custom Canopy Dual Battery System
For this Isuzu DMAX Canopy Dual Battery System we installed:
- 128Ah RACQ Deep Cycle Battery
- BMPRO BatteryCharge4 240V Charger
- Redarc BCDC1225 Battery Charger
- Red & Grey Anderson Plugs
- Cigarette 12V Power Sockets
- Digital Voltmeter
- Dual USB
- 240V Power Board
First up we secured the auxiliary battery using a purpose-built tray and then wired up the battery to the Redarc BCDC battery charger. We then wired in the Anderson plug for powering the fridge, 12V cigarette sockets, voltmeter and red Anderson plug for the solar input. We also installed the BMPRO 240V charger in the cabinets of the canopy. Lastly, the technician made up an Anderson plug patch lead for the fridge so it can slide in and out while still remaining on powered.
