Recently we completed a Toyota Tarago GLX Alternator Replacement.

After testing the Toyota Tarago GLX, it was diagnosed with a faulty alternator. If your alternator needs replacing the car may present with one of the following signs:

  • Warning light on the dash (alternator, engine, battery…)
  • Dead Battery
  • Hard to Start
  • Headlights are dim
  • Grinding or Whining sounds

If your car is presenting with any of the above symptoms we recommend you get it checked out by an Auto Electrician as soon as possible. If the alternator is damaged and isn’t fixed or replaced it can destroy your battery. In some modern cars with computer controlled alternators, extensive damage may also occur to the electronics if it is not replaced promptly after faulting or failing.
