A mechanic will primarily service the mechanical parts of motor vehicles such as the engine (including servicing, oil changes), transmission (clutch, gearbox and differential) and the suspension systems (springs, steering, brakes, wheels, and tyres).
An Auto Electrician is specifically trained to install, maintain and diagnose faults, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in cars, trucks, caravans, trailers, earthmoving and agricultural equipment and boats. They assess vehicles using special diagnostic testing equipment.
All staff members at Accelerate Auto Electrics and Air Conditioning are qualified auto electricians or they are currently undertaking their apprenticeship to gain a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.
